River Rock Ranch:

Scope:  The River Rock development lies north of San Antonio and is a 185-acre single-family residential subdivision with 445 lots. The firm was responsible for planning, surveying, engineering, platting and construction phase services for this multi-phased development. During the design phase, MTR Engineers prepared drainage studies, FEMA flood studies, Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) requests, traffic impact analyses (TIA), utility service agreements (USA), tree stand delineation plans, TCEQ contributing zone plans for water quality as well as the engineering design of streets, drainage, sewer and water systems. In addition to the services above, this development required teaming up with a local structural engineering firm for the design and construction of a 210-foot, 3 span bridge across Leon Creek. MTR Engineers teaming ability and experiences working with tracts contending with floodplain permitting and construction have lead to the accomplishment of this project.
