Dreamwood Bridge Rehabilitation:

Scope:  The overall bridge rehabilitation and drainage design was provided by Jacobs Engineering. MTR Engineers was a sub-consultant to Jacobs and provided design services including multiple pavement section designs and a street plan and profile, retaining wall design, several driveway designs, as well as a joint-bid water main design with the San Antonio Water System (SAWS). MTR also performed a topographic and improvement survey within the project limits. The existing sanitary sewer main under Dreamwood Drive was encased in concrete to ensure continual sewer service was maintained. MTR Engineers contracted Sanchez Salazar Associates (SSA) as a sub-consultant to provide a Traffic Control Plan (TCP). The TCP was critical to providing safe, alternate routes for both vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Extensive coordination was necessary between the project consultants as well as the stakeholders to ensure the project progressed smoothly.
