Crockett Street Bridge Rehabilitation:

Scope:  The overall bridge rehabilitation design was provided by Jacobs Engineering. MTR Engineers was a sub-consultant to Jacobs and provided design services including a full depth pavement reclamation design from the bridge to the adjacent streets, the design of drainage improvements that discharge at the Riverwalk level, as well as a comprehensive three-dimensional survey utilizing scanner technology that was crucial to identifying the small tolerances associated with the bridge. MTR Engineers contracted Sanchez Salazar Associates (SSA) as a sub-consultant to provide a Traffic Control Plan (TCP). The TCP was critical to providing safe, alternate routes for both vehicular and pedestrian traffic while also ensuring businesses could still receive shipment as required. Extensive coordination was necessary between the project consultants as well as the stakeholders to ensure the project progressed smoothly.
