Bernal Middle School:

Scope:  This project represents the newest middle school for Northside Independent School District, located within Stevens Ranch Subdivision on a 27-acre tract.  The project included the construction of new school facilities and associated sitework such as parking and drive improvements, on-site utilities, extensive underground drainage improvements, courtyard and amphitheatre improvements, sub-floor grading and public street improvements.  Also included in this project were middle school athletic facilities such as structural tennis courts, football field and track improvements, outdoor basketball court, softball field and practice fields.  Site design incorporated the construction of retaining walls, ramps & risers, and maximum slopes on some of the parking and drive improvements so as to accommodate design over existing topography.
