Synthetic Baseball Field and Sports Complex:

Scope:  This was a high profile, very successful project for Northeast ISD.  The project consisted of the design of a new district competition grade synthetic turf baseball field, as well as a new Natatorium at the Northeast Sports Park for the District.  As a civil sub-consultant to PBK Architects, MTR designed the new synthetic turf field, along with all associated Parking and Drive improvements, Drainage Improvements, flatwork/sidewalks, utility services, fencing and ADA accessibility improvements.  Although this project was completed recently, it was one of the first synthetic turf baseball fields constructed in the San Antonio area and has served as a design model to other public school districts pursuing similar athletic amenities.
