Holmes HS Baseball and Softball Field Complex :

Scope:  This project consisted of the site plan layout and design of a new Sports Complex on a recently purchased site immediately adjacent to Holmes High School for which MTR served as the Prime Consultant to the School District.  The scope of work included a Baseball Field, Softball Field, Batting Cages, Bleacher pads w/ bleachers, a Concession/Restroom Building, flatwork/sidewalks, Tennis Courts, Parking and Drive improvements, Drainage and on-site detention, new utility improvements, technology improvements, security/data and ADA accessibility improvements.  This was a very steep and challenging site, requiring the design and construction of over 56,000 sq. ft of modular block retaining walls to terrace the site.  Full competition grade standards were utilized in the design of the athletic improvements, making for a very unique and aesthetically pleasing sports complex addition to the existing high school for NISD.
